About Labyrinth

A labyrinth is a complicated, irregular network of passages or paths in which it is difficult to find one’s way. You enter and cannot immediately see where the path is taking you. You don’t arrive at the end directly, but wind back and forth circuitously. The process of discovering your destination as you go and allowing yourself to be guided by newfound boundaries and awareness produces a shift in consciousness.

Walking a labyrinth, an ancient symbol of wholeness, is much like the work of psychotherapy. The labyrinth represents a path into your own center and back out again into the world. Churches and monasteries have been using walking labyrinths for centuries to hone mindfulness, presence, and insight. It exemplifies the path of psychospiritual growth.

Labyrinth Psychology, PLLC was created to offer people a resource for advancing their mental health and performance. Its mission is to hold space for and create possibility around suffering via its core values of compassion, consciousness, and authenticity.
